Black Anvil Creative, LLC (“Black Anvil Creative,” “we,” “us”) is a marketing agency located at 107 Crystal Heights Blvd, Middlebury, IN 46540. This policy explains what information we collect through this website (https://blackanvil.co), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide to us

We collect the information you submit through the forms on this site:

Contact form — your name, company, email address, phone number, the budget and revenue ranges you select, and anything you write in the message fields.
Job and partnership application forms — your name, email address, phone number, your answers to the application questions, and any PDF files you upload (such as a resume or work samples).

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate your application, and communicate with you about working together. Form submissions are delivered to us by email through our form-processing service. Uploaded files are stored securely and automatically deleted after 90 days; if we need to keep a file longer (for example, an active application), we download it. Our form service also keeps a short-lived technical log of each submission (form, time, originating site, and delivery status) for reliability and abuse prevention.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, how long you stay, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and your device and browser type. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site and our marketing; it does not identify you by name.

You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs invisibly to distinguish people from bots without asking you to solve a puzzle. To do this, Turnstile processes limited technical information about your browser and network. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. This site is also served through Cloudflare's network, which processes visitor requests to deliver and secure the site.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the site work — our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare), our analytics provider (Google), and our email delivery provider — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and application emails as long as we have a business reason to — for example, an ongoing conversation, project, or hiring process. Uploaded files are automatically deleted from storage after 90 days, and form delivery logs are pruned on a short retention window. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices” below).

Security

Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and uploaded files are stored privately with access limited to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your choices

You can browse the site without submitting any form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser to limit analytics collection.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Where data is processed

We are based in Indiana, United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, you understand your information will be handled under U.S. law.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and its effective date.
